Reflections of Nature contest 2007

I entered the "reflections of nature" contest on the canadian wildlife federations webpage and won photo of the month for June 2007. The photo is of a group of american white pelicans that I took in May 2007. The photo was  published in "Canadian Wildlife Magazine" in the december issue. If you manage to find a copy look on page 22 and at the bottom you will see my photo. It feels nice to have a photo published with your name below it. 

For winning photo of the month I received a signed Robert Bateman Print. 

So far I have sent in a few photos for the 2008 reflections of nature contest so we shall see if I can do it again.  The photo that won has a row of pelicans with one pelican having its beak open and looking skyward.
